Exceptional geode half specimen. The entire inside is filled with iridescent pale green quartz druze. The quartz clusters shimmer like diamonds. This one will make a truly beautiful display piece. This is one of only two green quartz examples that we have. The other is in our personal collection.

Large Petrified Wood

This petrified wood specimen is completely agatized on the top but still shows fantastic wood grain on the side and bottom. The concentric growth rings are clearly visible at both ends. Excellent specimen!

Special Opening Instructions: If you plan to open these geodes by hand, we recommend a hammer and chisel. First take a regular hammer and strike the geode at least 15 times with a medium pressure and check for a hairline crack after each strike. If a crack forms then insert a screwdriver and pry the geode open. If no crack is present after 15 strikes then we use a metal chisel. Try to get a chisel that is at least half the width of the geodes diameter. Place the chisel at the center of the geode and strike it hard with your hammer ( we use a small 3 pound sledge hammer). Usually after one or two strikes the geode will split in two.
